South Derbyshire CVS is a voluntary sector development agency based in Swadlincote that covers the whole of South Derbyshire .
Our aim is to work with community groups, voluntary organisations and individuals to improve the quality of life in South Derbyshire.
We began operating in May 1996 and have grown considerably since then.
We are funded by a variety of sources including, Derbyshire PCT, South Derbyshire District Council, Derbyshire County Council, Derbyshire Children's Fund, Derbyshire Community Foundation, and Capacity Builders.

The Children and Young People's Referral and Support Service is a signposting and referral service. This means we put you in touch with services we think can help you. CYPRSS is a short-term service, which helps to find services that can offer you long-term solutions. We will listen to you and try to build up a clear picture of what you need. We will use our knowledge of what's available to help you or your family.

South Derbyshire C.V.S. Child Home Safety
The scheme aims to provide a wide variety of child home safety equipment to residents of South Derbyshire. The purpose of the scheme is to reduce the risk of fire and accidents in the home.
